VIDEO – a video published on the RAAF Youtube channel celebrating the career of the F-111. A child of the 1960s, for 25 years the F-111 gave little away in its ability to penetrate fast at low level and hit a hardened target or, in Australia’s case, a surface vessel with a high degree of accuracy.īut its active and passive self-defence systems and its communications were lacking compared to modern fourth and fifth generation capabilities, and emerging air defence and airborne threats meant it was increasingly being required to perform its work from standoff distances and with escort fighters, which left few opportunities to fully exploit its speed and range. These looming airworthiness concerns coincided with a growing realisation that despite its still impressive range, speed and payload, the F-111’s survivability in the face of modern threats was also rapidly diminishing. Indeed, following the government’s announcement it will acquire 12 new-build EA-18G Growlers as part of its public Defence White Paper release on May 3, one feels that much of the Super Hornet’s history in Australia still remains to be written.ĭespite the F-111C undergoing an extensive avionics and engine upgrade in the mid to late 1990s and subsequent plans for the jet to serve until 2015 or beyond, the retirement of the USAF’s F-111F/EF-111A fleet, a wing breakage during cold-proof load testing and the near loss of an aircraft in flight due to a fuel tank wiring issue led RAAF airworthiness authorities to reconsider the F-111’s supportability and safety in the post-2010 period. But the history of the RAAF’s Project AIR 5349 Bridging Air Combat Capability (BACC) makes for interesting reading for those so inclined, and few realise it is a history that could very well have taken a very different course.

8/8/2023 0 Comments Sonya the babysitter![]() The combined result is that Killer Queen, co-written by McG and three other writers, is paradoxically a study in both phone-it-in creative laziness and the perils of sequel excesses. Original screenwriter Brian Duffield, who tempered director McG’s more egregiously over-the-top tendencies with oodles of heart and charm in the first film, is no longer involved, and this is extremely obvious. The characters aren’t much better – everyone you meet, no matter how fleeting their screen time, has seemingly had their normal dialogue replaced by a sewer-pipe-flow of punchlines to jokes that fall horribly flat. Instead of taking the piss out of horror tropes like the first film, there are literal jokes about pissing…oh, how the mighty have fallen. Gone is the clever wit of the original, replaced by the lowest of low-brow humour. This is actually done for the benefit of the film, as you will be hard-pressed to actually find anything else to laugh at. The ludicrous amount of blood on display is highly laughable, and reminiscent of some classic camp horror flicks of the 20th century. Cue lots of running, screaming, and people dying in literal volcanic eruptions of blood. New student Phoebe (Jenna Ortega), not too far from crazy herself, is dragged into Cole’s now recurring nightmare when she stumbles into the whole bloody affair. What was supposed to be Cole letting off steam turns into another bloodbath, when the old cult members sans Bee – shirtless dumb guy Max (Robbie Amell), woefully clueless Allison (Bella Throne), fast-talking John (Andrew Bachelor), and morbid Goth girl Sonya (Hana Mae Lee) – somehow return from the dead. When Cole finds out about their plans, he decides to take Melanie up on her rebellious offer to ditch school and instead spend a night partying at the local lake with her friends. ![]() Even his supportive yet ditzy parents (Leslie Bibb and Ken Marino) don’t believe him and are even considering sending him to an institution. Cole’s status as a social pariah despite his achievements stems from the fact that after he killed Bee and her fellow cultists in self-defense, their bodies and the evidence of their actions had mysteriously disappeared – leading everyone to believe Cole just made it all up. His only friend is Melanie (Emily Alyn Lind), his cute neighbor from the first movie who still has a crush on him despite having a dumb jock boyfriend now. Set two years later after the first film, Killer Queen finds Cole in his junior year of high school, bullied by literally everyone. As much as I enjoyed the first film, which saw nerdy preteen Cole (Judah Lewis) discover that his cool babysitter Bee (Samara Weaving) and her friends are a part of a Satanic cult, the sequel tries too hard to be edgy, and ruins everything good about the first film. In fact, if you want to be more accurate to the trailers, it’s bloody terrible. The Babysitter: Killer Queen, McG’s follow up to his 2017 Netflix horror-comedy The Babysitter, is terrible. There is unfortunately no other way to say it. 8/8/2023 0 Comments Board kings level 13![]() The Dane played great poker to win EPT Snowfest just a few weeks ago to lift the trophy, and today he is on top of a pile of 316 remaining players with 430,000 chips. It’s that old chestnut again – will we get a double EPT winner? Well, the way Allan Baekke is going we could have ourselves a back-to-back champion. ![]() Conti could only reveal K ♥ 9 ♥ for king-high but Baeke had a pair of eights with his Q ♣ 8 ♥. Lindblom was gracious in defeat, while the other all-in player, still nameless, was fast in defeat, disappearing to the rail. “I don’t know what to say,” said Jelassi. This was bad enough but worse for the other two is that they each held pocket queens. Jelassi had good reason to shove, showing A ♣ A ♠. The action reached Ramzi Jelassi on the big blind who also announced all-in, easily covering the other two players. ![]() Then the player next to him did the same for 26,800 on the button. –MCĪndreas Lindblom moved all-in in the cut off for 31,800. The Cypriot thought he had lost for a moment and when he realized his error he rested his head into Ryan’s chest and the two shared a moment well Kyriakidea thought they were but I’m not sure Ryan was as comfortable with the pose. Ryan said it was close but getting three-to-one had to call. Ryan raised from the button before Kyriakidea moved all-in for another 26,600. SYĭanny Ryan is down to 105,000 after doubling up grateful neighbor Miltiadis Kyriakidea. The flop was a nice one for Rotach, coming 10 ♥ 7 ♦ K ♠ to pair him up, but the turn was A ♦ giving Stani the higher pair. Boeree (now up to 170,000) thought better of it, but Stani made the call. Kevin Stani called in the next seat and then Viacheslav Rotach moved all in for around 20,000. On the last hand of the level Chris Drombrowksi is eliminated when his kings ran into the ace-king which pairs with an ace on the river. Wood auger bits and Wood drill bits are different names for the same thing for those not in the know. When one is assembling a tool kit for home improvement, maintenance, and construction projects, one of the first items purchased is often a power drill, followed by an assortment of drill bits. NOTE: And another handy tip: drilling end grain, such as down the center of a post for it’s entire length is not a good use for a auger bit…the feed screw has trouble getting a bite in the pithy center wood…and the pitchy center can load the feed screw and cutter area with sticky wood…nothing to do at that point but remove the auger bit from the hole and get to cleaning all the pitch off the screw threads and cutter. Regular ‘cleaning’ of the hole helps reduce the possibility of this happening. NOTE: Here’s a handy tip: Did you get the long auger bit stuck? It’s best to ‘unstick’ by using a pipe wrench rather than the drill. Wood Auger Bits are for applications such as log homes, timber frames, wooden bridge repairs, arbor work & tree repair, railroad ties, landscape contracting, dock building, bulkheads, remodeling/renovation, piles, manufacturing, and post & beam construction. We stock several types…Irwin, NW, Eliminator, Penetrator, Chasen…in lengths up to 60″” and widths from 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ (depending on the brand).Īuger bits, such as Irwin and particularly NW have a sharp (and sharpenable) cutter that ‘cuts’ the wood as it drills, whereas, if you take a look at a carbide cutter you’ll see it’s more of a ‘rip and push’ (if you can explain it better, let us know, I can’t). Long Woodboring Auger Bits are a specialty of ours. ![]() Holders of public office should exhibit these principles in their own behaviour and treat others with respect. ![]() Holders of public office should be truthful. ![]() Information should not be withheld from the public unless there are clear and lawful reasons for so doing. Because not all servers provide a web interface for SSL management, on some operating systems OpenSSL is the only solution for installing and configuring your certificate. All you have to do is learn a few common OpenSSL commands, and with each new certificate installed, the configuration process will be faster and easier. You can also convert your certificate to various SSL formats as well as perform a variety of authentications. With OpenSSL, you can request a certificate for your digital certificate and install SSL files on your server. Although many webmasters are learning about SSL for the first time and do not know much about SSL, it is important that they have the tools they need. Proper implementation of SSL is critical to the security and success of a website. If you do not use an SSL certificate, popular browsers such as Chrome and Firefox will not consider your site as a “secure” website. First, they introduced SEO as an incentive to install digital certificates, and later, they made Chrome HTTPS mandatory for all websites. Since the launch of the HTTPS Everywhere campaign, the landscape of encryption has changed dramatically. ![]() OpenSSL is one of the most widely used tools in the field of SSL. Like I said they are slow, and they are heavy and can get stuck easier than a ranger. For some thing kubotas can't be beat and for others they stink. We have owned over ten UTV's of various brands over the past 8 years. If you dump dirt in it, haul wood, pick rocks, run trap lines, spray fence rows nothing works as good as a Kobota, but if you want to run up and down the road 50 mph to impress the neighbors then buy the others. I think the only reason someone would buy a Kobota is that they didn't try something else first. My brother bought a 900 ranger this past spring, have drove it a few times and was very impressed with the ride and power. Jd gator maybe? Edited by 3 M L & C 06:54 ![]() I still have a ranger but mom wouldn't let dad get another so that's how he ended up with the kubota. So that part keeps me from going all in on the ranger. Also cab is nice on kubota but if your running the ac and have a headwind your only going to get 19 mph. Had to put it in low cause didn't have enough power to go in high. This spring my dad was going to check cows when it was muddy. ![]() Tires are terrible and doesn't have enough power. If you ever drive in the mud you will hate the kubota. It will be used for work around his property and a casual trail ride. If I was buying something for hunting or recreation I would get a ranger but for work I will stick with the kubota. They are much faster and have a smoother ride but are not as robust. I love them being diesel it is so easy to fuel them of the truck transfer tank and not have to worry about the five gallon cans of gas. I ain't trying to run a race but that stinks when traveling far. Only complaint really is they are slow but that is a good thing at times with employees driving. They are the newer model 2015's with the IRS and radiator up front. He has two Polaris Sportsmanship and a B2620, so either will fit in. Thinking the Kubota will be more durable over the long haul. Similar to when crafting, you have a limited number of actions to raise the item to as high of a quality (collectability) as you want, while not breaking it, before gathering the items. Figure out which slot your item is in, and once it’s revealed MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR COLLECTOR’S GLOVE BUFF ACTIVE then try to gather it. Now how do you get collectability? It’s a fun minigame of its own! So you approach your 12 am/pm node (for yellow copper ore) and it has 8 (?) slots. This means you’ll get nothing for yellow copper ore with less than 240 collectability, the base 60k exp for each ore between 240-399, 66k for each between 400-449, and 72k for each ore over 450. Note: Since you can turn collectable items into non-collectable items, level 0 items can sometimes be used for crafting!Īs an example, the level 50 requested item is usually Yellow Copper Ore with a minimum of 240 collectability. Levels 1, 2, and 3 give a different amount of experience and Scrips based on how much collectability you generated. If you don’t make it up to the minimum amount of collectability, the item is completely useless cannot be turned in (level 0). An item can either be level 0, 1, 2, or 3 based on how much collectability it has. Unlike other turn-ins that ask for an item and give 2x exp for HQ, or turn-ins that ONLY take HQ, this time there are tiers of turn-ins. So how do they work? Basically you look at your timers menu and rowena tells you what she’s looking for. If you do leves between hitting collectable nodes, you can level very quickly! Collectable nodes can net you an insane amount of exp in a short amount of time. First off: You don’t need hours of mindless grinding or a billion leve allowances to level anymore. The entire collectable system for gatherers is the best ever. For gatherers they purchase tokens which unlock the ability to see the new 1 star nodes in certain zones.ģ) You can start earning Blue Scrips at level 56 on each class. ![]() Scrips buy you a set of decent entry level gear, some special mats/temporary buff items, and most importantly: Your master books. How do they work?Ĭollectables are an awesome new spin on the turn-in system for both crafters and gatherers. |
